Per Osbeck

With over 25 years of experience in creating impactful and intelligent solutions for the digital and analogue world, I am a passionate and versatile design director who specialises in creative direction, branding, and graphic and UI design. I have had the privilege to create and support renowned brands such as Ericsson, Houdini Sportswear, Peak Performance, Bentley Motors, Stoneridge Audi, Volkswagen, Mexx, Nescafé and more.

Collaborating closely with my clients, I develop highly effective visual communication concepts, guiding brands and team members to excel in the design process. I've had the privilege to create and support renowned brands such as Houdini Sportswear, Bentley Motors, Stoneridge, Mexx, Ericsson, Viasat and more.

Since 2009, I have been an essential member of Ericsson's Brand Team, dedicating myself daily to matters of design development, brand consistency, and product development for this 100,000-employee strong enterprise.

Between 2010 and 2014, I served as the lead designer for a transformative software interface project at Ericsson. This initiative replaced over 200 interfaces within Ericsson’s portfolio, resulting in a streamlined design language — a milestone heralding Ericsson's first true Design System. The collaboration involved designers, GUI experts, and stakeholders spanning Ireland, India, Germany, and Sweden.
During 2013 to 2015, I played a crucial role in establishing The Hub, Ericsson’s in-house agency, supporting the company's expansion from zero to 40 employees in India. I participated in the recruitment process, selecting suitable candidates and educating. The agency now caters to the global organization, producing marketing materials under my oversight.

Since 2017, I have supported the Ericsson's rebranding efforts. Our work has gained recognition, winning prestigious awards such as the Red Dot and D&AD Awards in the "Corporate Identity & Design” and “Interface & User Experience Design” categories.

Currently, my focus lies in shaping the evolution of Ericsson's Digital Design System, guaranteeing that it aligns seamlessly with their vision and expertise. This work establishes the fundamental framework for all digital touchpoints. Additionally, I take on the role of quality assurer for external agencies' deliveries, meticulously approving and providing feedback on brand and design submissions.
